Compass COLD
COLD is a powerful
state-of-the-art report management/storage system which archives
data and reports on low cost optical, CD-ROM or magnetic disk.
This information can then be retrieved as needed by any system
user from any PC attached to your network.

Compass COLD provides the
software and storage you need to manage your computer produced
reports online, on CD-ROM and on the Web! These reports can
be captured as print files, indexed and provided for access in a
secure Explorer-type inquiry program. These same reports can be
accessed from a secure web site using our Reports-to-Web
technology.
Compass COLD includes a built-in security system allowing
the system administrator to assign any report or COLD module to
any or all system users. Report or functions not assigned to an individual user do
not even appear as a user option. After signing on to
the Compass COLD system, the user is presented with only the
option assigned by the system administrator.

Compass
e-Reports
e-Reports
provides intuitive, direct browser-based access to reports
captured and indexed in the Compass COLD database. The resulting technology delivers
statements, reports, invoice, purchase orders - anything produced
by your host computer system - to your client browser PC.
Translation: Reports available on your local Intranet, Wide Area
Intranet or the
World-Wide-Web.
With e-Reports
you can allow your clients to view their statements and invoices
the moment they are available thereby speeding payment to your
firm. Salespeople in the field can have up to the minute product
and sales information with a local dial-up phone call. Branch
offices can receive their reports via a simple Intranet. Reports
are delivered in a browser independent format using Microsoft’s
free Personal Web Server or IIS Server on Windows
XT/2000/NT.

magic behind e-Reports is its powerful server-based software.
In addition, the e-Reports
implementation provides 100% of Compass COLD’s security features.
These features include user and password access to the report
repository, assignment of reports by individual or groups of
users, and user definable print file access limiters to control
users outside of your organization.
